We will be doing a service project for the Loveland Clinic for Blood Cancer at LDS Hospital.
We would like to put together Cancer Kits that would benefit both the patients and their families and help ease their burdens in a small way. Our goal is to put together at least ten bags to donate.
We would like to have donated items gathered by October 13th so we have an idea of what we have and still need. Thank you for your help!
Some of the items we need are:
- Mints
- Bags of lemon drops
- Packages of gum
- Lifesavers
- Travel sized hand sanitizer or packages of sanitizing wipes
- Magazines; Readers Digest, etc
- Snacks: candy bars, small packages of crackers or cookies, etc
- Chapstick
- Small tubes of hand cream
- Wisp disposable toothbrushes
- Notepads and pens
- Coloring books and crayons
- Word search books, crossword puzzles, other puzzle books
- Encouraging quotes, magnets, books
If you feel like you can help with any of these items, it would be greatly appreciated. Items can be given to any sisters on the Relief Society Committee at any time between now and October 13th.
